Naturama

Naturama products have their origin the United States of America. Lots of the research has been done in de US, so most of the test results and certificates are from the US. Naturama products are complying with all European regulations. We are working to get European Eco certificates as well, but processes like that take time. For now, we have the US research and certifications to show how good the Naturama products are.

EPA Safer Choice logo

EPA and Safer Choice – Safety

In de USA we have the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, or EPA, an official government organisation. This organisation has a mission to protect the health of people and environment. Naturama is EPA approved and most of the products even comply with the Safer Choice standard, showing people that the products perform and that they are safe to use. All ingredients are tested to be safe.
Naturama uses its own logos for EPA (Green Choice) and Safer Choice products due to licensing restrictions, but is registered under Naturama G3 A-5 EPA US Listing # SW-53.

Clean Air – Particulate Matter

The University of Bergen in Norway has carried out a long-term investigation into the relationship between the use of cleaning products and lung capacity. In the females group (males seemed to use less cleaning products) the lung capacity was equal to that of a smoker of 10 to 20 cigarettes per day. The research concerns home use, professional users often work even more with cleaning products. Another long-term study at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in Belgium shows equal harmful results.
Most of Naturama products comply with the South Cost Air Quality Management District standard, a US governmental organisation. In the US a test has been carried out for the Naturama CBD group of products (Marine, Car, Car Parts, Bike, Bicycle, Tobacco, Butchery and Airplane cleaners). See certificate.

Green Key logo

Green Key

Green Key is the leading standard for excellence in the field of environmental responsibility and sustainable operation within the tourism industry. If guests stay with a Green Key establishment, they are helping to make a difference on an environmental level. Most of Naturama products qualify for the Green Key program and help to become a desired Green Key certified company.

CLP Free Redefined logo

CLP Free Redefined

CLP (Classification, Labelling and Packaging) helps consumers and employees with the protection of health and the environment. Products often contain ingredients that entail hazards, which often do not appear as hazard statements on the label due to a mix or dilution. These products are not really without danger to the environment if they contain substances that have a long-lasting effect and accumulate in the environment. Calling such products CLP-free falls, in our opinion, under CLP washing. Naturama products with the CLP Free Redefined logo are completely free of hazardous substances.
